MAH B.Ed CAP Round 1 Merit List 2022 has now been released at bedcap22.mahacet.org. CET Cell released the merit lists at 1:40 PM. The direct links for all respective categories of candidates have been added above.

MAH B.Ed CAP Round 1 Merit List 2022: Management Quota Admissions
For B.Ed admissions, admissions through management or institute-level quota are not allowed. Therefore, no direct admissions through the management quota are available. Admissions are only conducted through MAH B.Ed CET CAP rounds counselling.

MAH B.Ed CAP Round 1 Merit List 2022: Note for J&K Candidates
Following are the instructions for J&K candidates as given by the CET Cell:
- All Jammu & Kashmir Candidates are considered as OMS Candidates.
- Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidates have to submit valid documents to DHE, for getting admission for the supernumerary seat in college as per the separate Notice published by DHE.
- All Conversions will be done in the Second Round.
- Conversion of Minority seat to HU, OHU & OMS candidate will be in the 2nd round of Allocation.
- HU & OHU seats transfer will be done after all Category & subject / Method transfer.

For ELCT as well, the State cell has not released the number of registered candidates. A total of 22,921 are eligible to register for CET+ELCT (English Medium) counselling.

CET Cell has not yet released the official number of candidates who have registered for MAH B.Ed CET counselling 2022 but this year, a total of 50,442 candidates were eligible for CET (Marathi Medium) counselling.

MAH B.Ed CAP Round 1 Merit List 2022: Who is eligible for Seat Allotment?
Only those candidates whose names are mentioned in the final MAH.BEd CAP merit list 2022 will be considered for seat allotment. CET Cell will also release the list of candidates who are not considered for allotment and a summary list stating the reason for the same.

MAH B.Ed CAP Round 1 Merit List 2022: Why is rank not assigned?
In the provisional or alphabetic MAH B.Ed CAP round 1 merit list 2022 scheduled to be released today, the merit ranks of the candidates will not be allocated. It is because only those candidates whose documents have been verified will be considered for the final merit list and seat allotment. The provisional merit list is released so that any such discrepancies can be resolved from the candidates' end and they do not lose the opportunity of seat allotment.

MAH B.Ed CAP Round 1 Merit List 2022: Who is eligible for Final Merit List?
The candidates whose "Document Verification Status" shows as CONFIRMED in MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022 are all eligible for the final merit list preparation and seat allotment. The candidates who currently have a discrepancy in their document and get it resolved before the last date of grievance redressal i.e., November 17, will also be eligible for the final merit list preparation and seat allotment.

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: Can I register for counselling now?
From November 30 to December 2, CET Cell will allow MAH B.Ed CET 2022 qualified candidates to register for Round 2 counselling, if they didn't or couldn't during Round 1. In this same duration, already registered candidates who had opted for betterment will also have to edit their option form to be considered for Round 2 seat allotment.

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: EWS Reservation
Under EWS reservation, 10% seats will be reserved candidates. However, this reservation is only in terms of a monetary concession. The merit of EWS candidates will be treated at par with Open category candidates.

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: Will a same merit list be used for all rounds of allocation?
CET Cell will publish separate merit lists before each round of seat allotments. Both provisional/alphabetical and final merit lists will be released for each round, along with a list of those candidates who were not considered for the preparation of the merit list. MAH B.Ed CET merit list 2022 released today is the provisional/alphabetical merit list for CAP Round 1 only.

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: Merit Score Calculation
For MAH B.Ed CET merit list 2022, the merit score calculation will be different for Marathi and English medium candidates. For Marathi medium candidates, only CET score will be considered; while for English medium candidates, CET and ELCT scores will be considered. English medium candidates were able to apply for both Marathi and English medium colleges while the same was not the case for Marathi medium candidates.

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: Tie-Breaking Policy
In case, two or more candidates score equally in MAH B.Ed CET 2022, their tie will be broken and ranks will be allotted as per the following order:
i. The candidate with a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination will be given a higher rank, followed by,
ii. The candidate with a higher percentage of marks in aggregate at HSC or equivalent examination, followed by,
iii. The candidate with a higher percentage of marks in aggregate at SSC or equivalent examination, followed by,
iv. The candidate who is older in age

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: Procedure to be followed in case of Change of Marks
If the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification and the same is duly certified by the concerned Appropriate Authority or Board, it shall be reported to the CET Cell for admission through the CAP counselling or its designated representatives anytime prior to 5 PM on the day of display of final merit list.

On the homepage under the 'Notifications' section, once the merit list is out, three separate links for it will be provided, after clicking on which the merit list will be displayed/downloaded:

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: What if there is no discrepancy in documents but in other personal details?
Although such a scenario is unlikely, such errors in name, category, marks, etc. can be corrected within the grievance redressal period as well, from November 15 to 17. Such candidates too will have to open their application forms through their login and make the necessary corrections. However, it is advised to go through the details mentioned in your uploaded documents before making any changes.

MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022: What if my documents have discrepancies?
After the release of MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022, the CET Cell will open a window for "Grievance Redressal" from November 15 to 17. During these dates, candidates who have discrepancies will have to access their application form from their candidate login. The documents with discrepancies will have to be reuploaded as per the instructions given by the CET Cell. Do note that this will be the last chance for candidates to correct their documents for Round 1. If discrepancies are still found, such candidates will not be considered for the preparation of the final merit list and thus, will not be eligible for Round 1 seat allotment.

Alphabetical Merit List sorts the candidates in the alphabetical order of their names instead of their merit rank (as per their score). CET Cell releases MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022 as an alphabetical merit list to allow candidates to check and verify their details and also to confirm their "Document Verification Status". As only those who have all their documents verified without any discrepancies will be considered for final merit list, the alphabetical merit list such errors to be resolved.

Registered candidates who have filled out and confirmed their option form will be considered for the preparation of MAH B.Ed CET Merit List 2022.
