. This round is specifically meant for candidates who either did not register in Round 1 or those who resigned their seats with a free exit option after the first allotment. It provides fresh applicants another chance to secure admission to MBBS and BDS courses across India through the centralised counselling process. Candidates who already registered in Round 1, whether allotted a seat, not allotted, or opted for upgradation, are not required to register again. Fresh candidates must ensure timely completion of registration within the deadline to be considered for seat allotment in Round 2.
The deadline for the MCC NEET UG 2025 Round 2 counselling registration is September 9, 2025. The choice filling window will be open from September 5 to 9, with choice locking scheduled on September 9. The seat allotment process will take place on September 10 and 11, and the allotment result will be declared on September 12, 2025. Candidates allotted a seat must report to their respective colleges between September 13 and 19, followed by document verification on September 20 and 21, 2025.

- Candidates who did not register in Round 1 are eligible.
- Candidates who resigned from Round 1 with a free exit option are eligible.
- Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but reported/joined – no fresh registration needed.
- Candidates who registered in Round 1 but were not allotted any seat – no fresh registration needed.
- Candidates who opted for upgradation in Round 1 – no fresh registration needed.
Step-by-Step Registration Process – MCC NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2025
- Visit the official website mcc.nic.in , go to UG Medical, and click on New Registration (Round 2).
- Enter NEET UG Roll Number, Application Number, Date of Birth, captcha, and verify with OTP.
- Create a password and fill in personal, category, and quota details.
- Upload a photograph and signature as per the required specifications.
- Pay the registration fee and security deposit online, and save the transaction ID.
- Log in again for choice filling and select preferred colleges and courses in the desired order.
- Save and lock choices before the deadline, then download the locked choices slip.
- Check the seat allotment result on the given date and download the allotment letter if allotted.
- Report to the allotted college with original documents and complete admission and fee formalities.
- If required, choose the “Willing to Upgrade” option during reporting for consideration in the next round.
