MCC to Release Round 2 Seat Allotment Results for Deemed and Central Varsities on August 11

  • The candidates who secure admission to MBBS and BDS courses in deemed and central universities must report to the allotted institute from August 12 to August 19, 2017.
MCC to Release Round 2 Seat Allotment Results for Deemed and Central Varsities on August 11

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) which conducts the counselling process for medical and dental courses under All India Quota (AIQ) will declare the second round seat allotment results for deemed and central universities on August 11, 2017. According to sources, the candidates who secure admission to MBBS and BDS courses in deemed and central universities must report to the allotted institute from August 12 to August 19, 2017. The official website will have the updated schedule soon. The candidates who took part in the Round II counselling process (for deemed and central universities) must check the official website on August 11, 2017.

MCC has wrapped up the counselling process for government, private medical and dental colleges under AIQ. As per the schedule of MCC, August 16, 2017, is the deadline for the candidates who secured admission in MBBS or BDS course to report to allotted institute. If there are any MBBS or BDS seats vacant they will be transferred to the respective states.

Medical admissions for the year 2017 have almost come to an end. From 2018, NEET-UG will have uniform question paper in all the languages. English medium question paper will be translated into the vernacular languages. The decision taken by the CBSE and HRD Ministry will regulate the disputes that arose in NEET-UG 2017.

NEET-UG 2018 examination will be also conducted in Urdu. The central government has informed Supreme Court on the same. With the new addition, NEET-UG 2018 will be conducted in 11 languages.
