MDU’s Induction Programme on 10th August

Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) will organize an Induction Programme for all the newly admitted students of University Teaching Departments (UTD) on August 10 in Tagore Auditorium from 12 noon onwards.

Senior University functionaries will brief the students about various University activities in this Induction Programme. MDU Dean, Students’ Welfare Prof. Rajbir Singh informed that all the newly admitted students in the session 2015-2016 will be provided a glimpse about academic activities, sports activities, students’ welfare and youth welfare activities, Youth Red Cross(YRC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) activities, etc in this Induction programme. The students will assemble in Tagore Auditorium at 11 a.m. for registration prior to commencement of Induction programme.

A meeting of University functionaries was held recently under the convenorship of DSW Prof. Rajbir Singh to chalk out the details of the Induction Programme. Proctor Prof. S.P. Khatkar, Provost (Boys) Prof. Amar Singh Verma, Provost (Girls) Prof. Rajesh Dhankar, Chairperson, University Committee Against Sexual Harassment Prof. Renu Chugh, Programme Co-ordinator (Youth Red Cross) Prof. Radhey Shayam, Programme Co-ordinator (NSS) Dr. Ranbir Singh Gulia, Librarian Dr. Satish Kumar Malik, Director, Youth Welfare Jagbir Rathee, Director, Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee were present in the meeting.
