The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has announced counselling for engineering admissions for the candidates who qualified JEE Mains examination. The admissions are also open for the candidates belonging to other states. The candidates who did not appear for MH CET 2016 and qualified JEE Mains (Paper-I) examination can apply for the engineering courses.
The candidates can apply for the course by paying required fees. The admission process is conducted to fill up seats under Institutional Quota. The students have to pay Rs.800/- as the counselling fee. The fee can be paid through the online portal of DTE. The candidates need to get verified their certificates in the college they want to apply on or before 5-August-2016.

The MH CET 2016 examination was held on 5-May-2016. The government has allotted the seats to all the candidates who have qualified the test. The admission process was done based on Centralized Admission Process (CAP). After the completion of four rounds of counselling, 38% of engineerings seats are still vacant. The DTE has announced another round of seat allotment. The candidates who did not get seats in four allotments can apply for the last allotment. The application process for the seat allotment will close on 5-August-2016.
