MHRD Invites Project Proposals from Students for Exhibition at Aero India 2019

The shortlisted projects on aerospace technologies will be showcased at Aero India 2019, which is scheduled to be held from 20th to 24th February. As part of the competition, students can come up with products, concepts or innovative ideas.

MHRD Invites Project Proposals from Students for Exhibition at Aero India 2019

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) along with the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Civil Aviation is inviting proposals from students to showcase their projects on aerospace technologies at Aero India 2019, which is scheduled to be held from February 20 to February 24, 2019.

As part of this initiative, students have been asked to come up with products, concepts or innovative idea as part of the competition. The shortlisted ones will be featured at Aero India 2019's exhibition, for which the theme is Application of Aerospace Technologies for the Betterment of the Billion lives (AABB).

A first of its kind 'Student Pavilion' will be put at the event where students' aerospace-related projects will be displayed.

In order to participate in the exhibition, all those students who are involved in the Aerospace sector, both Civil and Defence, can submit their concept note, which will be accepted by MHRD until 7th January 2019.

Students should note that the Ministry will shortlist the projects on January 14, 2019. By January 24, 2019, shortlisted students will have to submit a detailed project report for their projects. By January 26, 2019, the selection committee will announce the projects that will be finally selected.

Students must also note that the participating team should have a maximum of 4 members, consisting of one team leader and three team members. The proposals can include new emerging technologies in form of models /prototypes or exhibition of inventive and original applications/products of existing & proven technologies. Furthermore, through the institute or a faculty member of the institute where the students are enrolled, the proposal must be sent to the Ministry.
