MHT CET CAP Round 2 Dates 2025MHT CET CAP Round 2 Dates 2025: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell announced the revised MHT CET CAP Round 2 counselling schedule 2025 on its official website, fe2025.mahacet.org. Candidates who either did not participate in Round 1, were not allotted a seat, or opted for the betterment option in the previous round are eligible to take part in the CAP Round 2 counselling process. To help candidates understand the seat availability across participating institutes, the authority released a provisional list of vacant seats for Round 2 in PDF format on August 5, 2025.
The option form was made accessible from August 6. During this period, candidates can select as many preferences as they wish with both institutes and courses being arranged in descending order of priority. The seat allotment will be determined based on these filled preferences.

Once the allotment results are declared, candidates must confirm their seat online via their login portal by choosing either the "freeze" or "betterment" option. Those allotted a seat must pay the seat acceptance fee and complete the necessary admission procedures within the specified timeframe.
During the self-reporting process, the institute will verify the documents submitted by the candidate. Upon successful verification, the institute will issue a system-generated confirmation receipt for admission along with the fee payment receipt. However, if it is discovered that the seat was allotted based on false information provided in the candidate’s application, the institute will not proceed with the admission. In such cases, the candidate may raise a grievance through their login portal.
