Swami Vivekanand College Kolhapur and D.Y.Patil University the Department of Chemistry jointly organized a two-day national conference on the subject of the "Renewable energy".

While speaking at the seminar former Vice-Chancellor of Shivaji University Dr.M.G.Takawale said, "Mineral wealth gained from the ground is decreasing stocks. It is a low resource arising from coal and oil production. The earth is hit by fuel shortage in the construction of water.In future, we will see domestic goods and vehicles running on solar energy. Industry and power needed to be based on the use of solar energy. New solar energy factory so setting up the new challenge in the next community to create electricity.

The principal Dr.Salunkhe urged to create a movement in power consumption question and he expressed concern over the shortage of electricity and the challenges of society. Secretary Shubhangi Gavade presented his opinion on this subject.

Several professors, students, parents of students and researchers were present on the occasion. Finaly Dr. D.B.Patil. & Dr.Mrs.S.D.Shirke thanked the guests.
