A National Level Science Writing Workshop is being organized by the MBL Media School, Calicut. The workshop is being organized jointly by Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. The workshop will be organized from 16 August to 20-August-2016. The workshop is going to lead by eminent scientists, K P Madhu and Dr. TV Venkateswaran.
The main objective of the workshop is to train the media persons in writing science effectively. The workshop also gives scope for the younger scientists to express their findings and insights for a popular readership. The workshop is open to Media students, professionals, young scientists and science enthusiasts.
The medium of instruction for the workshop is English and the proficiency in the language is mandatory to attend the workshop. However, the participants can present their assignments in Malayalam.
The duration of the workshop is for five days. Refreshments and food are provided for all the participants during the workshop.
