NIRF Engineering Ranking 2023 (Released): List of Top Engineering Colleges in India

The Ministry of Education released NIRF Engineering Ranking 2023 on June 5, 2023, at 11 AM. Find below the complete list of top engineering colleges in India.

NIRF Engineering Rankings 2023

NIRF Engineering Ranking 2023: The Ministry of Education on June 5, 2023, released NIRF Ranking 2023 via a press conference. All India rankings of institutions across 13 categories are now available at nirfindia.org. A total of 1314 institutes had participated in NIRF Ranking 2023 for Engineering stream and out of it, a list of the top 100 colleges throughout the country is provided along with their NIRF score, a quality parameter used to rank the institutes. Although IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and IIT Kanpur retain the top 4 positions as they did last year, the overall quality score for all four institutes has decreased this year. The top 5th spot has been taken by IIT Roorkee this year, and IIT Kharagpur has slipped to 6th position from its 5th position in the previous year.

NIRF Engineering Ranking 2023

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranks the institutions based on five main parameters as follows: i. Teaching, Learning, & Resources, ii. Research and Professional Practice, iii. Graduation Outcomes, iv. Outreach and Inclusivity, and v. Peer Perception.
