VVIT Organizes Digital Learning Program
The NSS unit of Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology organized Digital Learning Program on 13-May-2016. This program was organized in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Skills Development Corporation. The training has been given for Self Help Groups (SHG’s) at various villages. The training program was held at Peddavadlapudi, Kaja, Kaakani, Yerrabalem, Nowluru, Kopravuru, Venigandla and Uppalapadu.
Students visited the above villages and trained the SHG’s regarding the usage of Tabs, attending calls on Tab, sending messages and Usage of Internet on Tab. The Andhra Pradesh Government has distributed Tabs to SHG’s recently. The APSDC has taken the responsibility of providing training. The APSDC is supported by the college in organizing Digital Literacy Program at various villages. The regional head of APSDC appreciated the students.
College chairman, Vasireddy Vidya Sagar said, “The NSS unit of the college organizes various activities. Recently the NSS unit has organized career guidance program for 10th standard students at various schools. The NSS unit also distributed note books to primary students at various government elementary schools. The NSS unit is one step forward in organizing social activities”.
The NSS unit was appreciated by the college chairman, principal and HOD’s of various departments. The SHG’s thanked the students for their efforts in educating rural women.
