OSSC Teacher Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria: Odisha Staff Selection Commission TGT Recruitment 2022 notification has been released online on the official website of the commission. The registration will be commencing on 11th December 2022 for all TGT posts offered in the official notification. The vacancies opened in this recruitment are for various posts i.e. TGT Science, TGT Hindi, TGT Sanskrit, TGT Telugu, TGT Urdu, and TGT Physical Education in various state government schools of Odisha. The candidates who fulfil the OSSC TGT Recruitment 2022 post-wise eligibility criteria can apply for the application online @ossc.gov.in till 9th January 2023. OSSC Teacher Recruitment 2022 Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria

The detailed eligibility criteria for OSSC TGT 2022 Application have been mentioned below for each post separately -

PGT Hindi

• Completed graduation from a recognised university with Hindi as an elective and 50% marks aggregate AND

• Any one of the following certificates of Training -

1. Hindi Shikshan prangat from Kendriya Hindi Sanstha, agra

2. B.H.Ed approved by NCTE

3. B.Ed in Hindi by Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha

4. B.Ed in Hindi approved by NCTE

TGT Urdu

• Completed Alim/Fazil with 50% marks aggregate AND B.Ed in Urdu from an NCTE-recognised institute OR
• Complete B.A in Persian with 50% marks aggregate AND B.Ed in Urdu from an NCTE-recognised institute

TGT Classical (Sanskrit)

• Completed graduation from a recognised university with Sanskrit as an elective and 50% marks aggregate AND Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) course designed by NCTE OR
• Completed Shastri (Sanskrit) from any recognised university AND Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) course designed by NCTE  

TGT Physical Education

• Completed C.P.Ed/B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed from a recognised University

TGT Telugu

• Completed graduation from a recognised university with Telugu as an elective and 50% marks aggregate AND
• B.Ed in Telugu from an NCTE-recognised university

TGT Science (PCM)

• Completed Graduation in Science/ B.E./B.Tech from a recognised university with 50% marks aggregate AND B.Ed from an NCTE recognised institute OR
• Completed integrated B.Sc-B.Ed of four years with 50% marks in aggregate

For TGT Science PCM - The candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the main subjects

For TGT Science CBZ - The candidates must have Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Biology as the major subjects

TGT Arts

• Completed B.A. in fine arts from a recognised university with 50% marks aggregate AND
• Completed B.Ed in Arts from an NCTE Approved institute

Age Limit

The minimum for the applicant must be 21 years and the maximum is 38 years. The crucial date of eligibility is kept to be 1st January 2022. However, there are certain upper age limit relaxations for the candidates in reserved categories in the OSSC TGT Recruitment 2022
