Addressing the students at the 7th convocation ceremony of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, President of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind urged the students to focus on entrepreneurship. He advised the students to follow moral values and ethics to attain real success in all the aspects of life. Relativity is something that is applied to physics, but not ethics, and there could be no scope or ambiguity for argument on ethics, he quoted.
Honourable President of India called the students to draw inspiration from struggle and hard work of social reformer Dr. BR Ambedkar and Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India. People respect Mr. Vajpayee for his valuable contribution towards the country and society. Similarly, Dr. BR Ambedkar is highly respected by Indian citizens for his hard work and struggle throughout his life. He explained that Dr. BR Ambedkar has extraordinary experience in completing the thesis in a short period. Due to his knowledge and experience in writing a thesis, he was appointed as Chairman of Drafting Committee of Indian Constitution.

Mr. Kovind also remembered the valuable contributions made by Sardar Vallabhai Patel, first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. On his death anniversary on December 15, Mr. Kovind paid a tribute to Patel.
President of India further explained the challenges being faced by the country. Even though India is developing in all aspects, there are certain social and economic challenges, which still need to be addressed.
Mr. Kovind appreciated the efforts of the varsity in addressing social concerns and providing access to the disadvantaged. The varsity has adopted nearby villages and worked with the local community for education & development, he concluded.
Me. Kovind also appreciated Sushma Verma, the youngest girl to enroll in the Ph.D. course at the age of 15, and Neelu Sharma who secured admission in the Ph.D. course under single girl child scheme.
