Punjabi University has decided to extend the admissions dates for undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programmes in the university. Students can now apply for admissions in the Punjabi University latest by 14th September 2018. This is because a large number of seats are lying vacant in the first semester.
As per the records, the total number of enrolled students in the various departments of the university is not even half. The number of seats lying vacant in the courses offered by the university are listed below:

Apart from these, courses which do not even have a single number of enrolled student include MBA Hospitality and Healthcare Management, MBA Environment, MBA Dual Degree, M.Tech Computer Engineering and Electronics and Communication.

Meanwhile, the varsity introduced many new courses for which the condition is the same. The university launched 18 new courses on campus, the enrollment in which is almost negligible. Courses such as MBA in Media Studies and Entertainment has only managed to fill up two seats as of now out of the 20 available. Similarly, in the PG diploma course in Child Development and Counselling, 16 seats are lying vacant out of 30.
