QIS College of Engineering and Technology awarded meritorious and outstanding students of the college on 12-May-2016. The prizes were awarded to final year B.Tech students of the college. The prizes were awarded department wise. On this occasion, College Chairman, N. Nageswara Rao addressed the students.
He said that, “The final year students have excelled in campus placements, academics as well as in the competitions conducted by various colleges. It is a custom of the college to award outstanding and meritorious students every year. A total number of 250 students selected in campus placements in the academic year 2015-2016. Various departments have secured 80+ pass percentage in semester exams and the academic year has come to an end”. He greeted the final year students for the bright future.
College principal, Dr. K. Veeraswamy has given the details regarding number of prize winners department wise:-
- A total number of 70 students received prizes from ECE department.
- 18 students from EEE department received prizes.
- 18 students of CSE department received prizes.
The winners of various competitions were awarded with mementos. The meritorious students were awarded with medals and certificates. College faculty congratulated the students. Students thanked the college management for being supportive.
