Selection & Counselling Process after AP-ICET (MCA)

Department of Higher education, Andhra Pradesh conducts Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP-ICET) 2017 for the admission to MCA course. The candidates can check the detailed selection and counselling process here.

Selection Process: -

• Selection is based on merit and rank.
• A rank list will be released after the declaration of results and the counselling process follows later.

Counselling Process: -

• The candidates have to take part in the web-based counselling process.
• Required counselling fee has to be paid.
• The candidates will be called for counselling rank wise.
• Therefore, the candidates have to attend the counselling on the stipulated date and time at the nearest helpline centre.
• Initially, the academic certificates of the candidates will be verified during the counselling process.
• Therefore, the candidates have to carry all the relevant original academic certificates and other documents.
• The candidates have to exercise the options, i.e., he/she has to choose the college/ colleges in which he/she wants to seek admission.
• It is always advisable to choose atleast 6 to 9 options.
• Seat allotment will be done as per rank and availability of seats.
• The candidates have to report to college on the stipulated date and pay the course fee.
