Shourya Clinches Second Position in CBSE Board Result in Lucknow
Shourya Shrestha from the Army Public School in the city clinched the second position in the state with 98.4 pc in the CBSE results which were declared on Saturday. The son of a subedaar in the army, the young student said that he wanted to become a doctor and serve the Army.

- 97 in Chemistry
“I have always been fascinated by the Army life and I am looking forward to join the Armed Force Medical College. I want to specialise i n Cardiology and aim at becoming a cardiologist.” said the topper. He admitted that he worked hard for the examinations and relied much on selfstudy. “I put my soul and heart into the work and hence am very happy with the result. I tried always to clear my doubts that happened at the time of the preparation” he added.
“One has to put 10 to 12 hours in the study and it is a boring exercise but it was my parents who motivated me throughout and the teachers provided a lot of guidance. Also one faces the fear of what one gets in the examinations and that proves to be a challenging experience,” he added.
