- A total number of 65 seats have been reserved for the spot admission round.
- All the vacant seats under NRI quota will be transferred to the state merit quota during the spot round admission process.

Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala will conduct NEET -based spot admission process for MBBS and BDS courses in Kerala on August 30, 2017, for non-local students (outside Kerala). Candidates who wish to take part in sport round admission process must register by 5:00 PM on August 29, 2017.
Only registered candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. CEE Kerala has reserved a total number of 65 seats for spot round admission process, specifically for non-local students. CEE Kerala will also conduct spot round admission process on August 31, 2017, which will be the last day for the medical admissions in the state.

While attending the sport round admission process, the candidates must carry ‘Spot Admission Slip’ which can be downloaded from the web page of CEE Kerala.

Guidelines for the Spot Round Admission Process: -
- Students who have already secured a seat in government medical or dental college should not attend the spot round admission process for admission to another government medical or dental college.
- Transfer between two private medical colleges is not allowed for the same course.
- Candidates who joined the government controlled self-financing medical college is permitted to take part in spot round admission process for the admission to government or private medical college.
- Transfer from NRI seat to Minority or Government seat shall be permitted only between two private medical colleges or same college.
- If any seats are vacant under NRI open quota, these seats will be transferred to state merit quota.
- If any seats are vacant under NRI minority quota, these seats will be transferred to state merit quota seats.
Non-Local candidates, i.e., outside Kerala candidates must report at Old Auditorium of Government Medical College, Trivandrum on or before September 3, 2017. These students must submit all the relevant documents including community certificate, minority certificate, nativity proof and other documents.
