For the applicants preparing or who have already applied for the SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2022, here is an important update. As per the update in SSC GD Constable Notification 2022, the NCC cadets will have an additional incentive from 2% to 5% marks in the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 exam. The exact marks added for the NCC candidates will be decided on the certificate grade they hold. The commission has added that the bonus marks will be added to the overall normalised score of the candidates.
The Staff Selection Commission is inviting applications for the recruitment of Constable GD all Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Riflemen in Assam Rifles and a Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The application window has been activated on the official website since 27th October 2022. The last date to apply for the SSC GD Recruitment 2022 for Constable is 30th November 2022.
Bonus Marks in SSC GD Constable 2022 for NCC Candidates
The SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 will have the Computer Based Exam as the first step in the selection process followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and document verification round. The Staff Selection Commission has recently announced that the candidates who hold certificates from NCC will be awarded extra marks in the cut-off list for the written examination. Here are the certificate-wise bonus marks distribution for NCC applicants is mentioned below.
Bonus Marks for NCC Certificate Holders
NCC ‘C’ certificate – 5% of total marks
NCC ‘B’ certificate – 3% of total marks
NCC ‘A’ certificate – 2% of total marks
