State Universities of Karnataka to provide admission in BA, BSC, B.Com courses using CUCET score

NEW DELHI: UGC Chairman Mr. Jagadesh Kumar said that the State Universities of Karnataka have decided to hold Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 for undergraduate courses like BA, BSc, and BCom.

“Today I had a meeting with Vice-Chancellors of 25 State Universities from Karnataka to discuss about Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The VCs have supported the introduction of CUET and have agreed to use CUET for admissions in BA, BSc, BCom and similar programmes,” the UGC Chairman stated in a tweet today.

The registration dates for CUET 2022 have been revised by the National Testing Agency. The registration process for CUET 2022 will commence on April 06, 2022. The Undergraduate aspirants of CUET 2022 can start filling the form from 5 PM on April 06, 2022. The last date to complete the registration process is May 06, 2022. NTA has already announced that the exam will be conducted either in the first or the week of July. The duration of the CUET examination is 195 minutes for slot 1 and 225 minutes for slot 2. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test. The questions paper consists of MCQ-type questions. CUET 2022 will be conducted in 13 languages. Candidates must note that only the Class 12 syllabus will be considered for CUET 2022.

The aspirants of CUET 2022 can read the detailed information on the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in. The applicants can apply for CUET 2022 on the same website. Most Universities like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia, University of Hyderabad, and some of the deemed universities have already taken the decision to adopt  CUET 2022 for admissions into UG courses.
