There was no communication regarding when the pending results will be declared and also if the admission process will be held as per schedule or is also likely to be delayed.
A candidate who appeared for the MSc entrance examination said the university is neither declaring the result nor is it informing students when it will be announced.
Another student said that there is still no clarity whether the admission process will go on as per schedule. "The university should take note of the confusion students are in due to this delay and declare results at the earliest," said the student. Members of student body Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) have demanded that the university delays the entire admission process accordingly.
SUK acting registrar V N Shinde could not be reached for comments despite several attempts. The university did not inform candidates about the delay in declaring results on June 1 either. SUK controller of examination Mahesh Kakade had attributed Wednesday's delay to "conflicts in the data".
The varsity had held entrance examinations for its various postgraduate courses in May. Discrepancies were supposed to be reported till June 4, after which the final merit list was to be announced on June 8. The first admission round of admissions was to begin from June 10, the second from June 16 and the third on June 22.
