Telangana EAMCET Exam Concluded Peacefully
The Telangana EAMCET examination was held peacefully at Vijayawada and Guntur on 15-May-2016. Regional convener of examination, Mr. AV Ratna Prasad give details about the examination.
He said, “A total number of 15, 353 registered for engineering test and 21,140 students registered for Medicine test in Andhra Pradesh. 1,010 students registered for both medicine and engineering test. A total number of 8,937 students appeared for engineering test at Vijayawada and 11,221 students appeared for medicine test. The examination was held across 41 examination centers at Vijayawada out of which 19 centers for engineering and 22 centers for medicine”.
The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation ran special buses to all the examination centers. Students reached the examination center on time. The engineering test was held between 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM and the medicine test was held between 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. Electronic watch and calculators were not allowed in the examination center. The students were provided with duplicate answer sheet (OMR Sheet) along with question paper.
Students opined that, “The question paper was easy but the physics was very tough. The examiner has gone in depth for physics”.
The candidates who appeared for the Telangana EAMCET will have a chance to get admission into various engineering colleges of Telangana. The results of the examination are likely to be declared next week. Official announcement is awaited.
