The rank list will be available on the official TNAU admissions portal i.e. tnau.ucanapply.com, and candidates are advised to check the website during the above times for immediate updates. This rank list is crucial as it decides the order of merit for more than 30,000 applicants vying for approximately 6,921 seats across 14 undergraduate agricultural science programs and three diploma courses at TNAU, its constituent government and private colleges, and Annamalai University. The rank list is prepared based on the candidates’ academic performance and reservation criteria, following the completion of certificate verification for various categories, including sportspersons.

After the release of the TNAU Rank List 2025, shortlisted candidates are notified via their registered email and mobile number to participate in online counselling. The counselling process is conducted through a single window system, where candidates must verify their certificates and select their preferred courses and colleges online. Seat allotment is based on merit and seat availability. If a candidate fails to produce original documents during verification, their seat is offered to the next eligible candidate.
