For admission into B.Tech or BE programs in the State Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu, one must take the exam called TNEA also known as Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission. This exam is conducted by the Anna University and it is a state level examination.
Yesterday i.e. on 22nd June’ 16 the rank list of the TNEA 2016 exam was announced by the ANNA University.
To check the result one must follow the following steps:
- First, visit the official website of ANNA University
- Once you are on the website, click on the link of TNEA 2016 rank list
- And when you click on that link you will be directed to a page where you will be asked to fill your application number and a security question.
- After that, you will be able to check your rank.
The ANNA University prepares this TNEA Rank List on the basis of the data they streamline of the student from class XIIth.
TNEA 2016 ranks are calculated on the basis of various factors which includes community categories, reservation criteria and inter-merit guidelines.
On the basis of the student’s rank, he or she will be invited for counselling and eventually a seat will be allotted. They have to physically attend TNEA 2016 counselling in person as per the declared schedule.
