TS EAMCET 2022 exam is being conducted from 18th July to 20th July 2022. The exam is conducted in two sessions- session 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and session 2 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A total of 1,72,241 candidates registered for the Engineering stream and around 29,000 candidates will be taking examination in each session. On 18th July, around 95.46% of students appeared in 89 test centres located in Telangana and 77.03% of students appeared in 19 test centres located in Andhra Pradesh.
The smooth conduct of the exam was disrupted by a power failure at one centre in Warangal. The exam started one-and-a-half hours later at the Ganapathy Engineering College (GCE), Warangal, due to some technical issues. Ganapathy Engineering College (GCE), Warangal in-charge P Krishna Rao admitted to the Express that due to the power supply disturbance, the EAMCET exam was delayed.
With TS EAMCET now offering a four-year BSc Nursing course, candidates seeking admission into BSc Nursing programmes in the convener quota seats in the State must appear and qualify as well as secure a good rank. National Eligibility-Cumulation Test (NEET) UG grades will be used for management quota admissions.
From July 14 to 20, TS EAMCET 2022 is scheduled to take place, with AM stream tests on July 14 and 15 and engineering entrance tests on July 18, 19 and 20. Neither the pattern nor the number of questions will change and the exam will take 180 minutes to complete. According to the syllabus adopted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) for intermediate courses from academic year 2020-21, most of the first year syllabus will cover 70% and most of the second year syllabus will cover 70%.
