TS-EDCET 2017 Counselling Scheduled Released

  • The certification verification and the web counselling process for TS-EDCET candidates will begin from September 7, 2017. 
  • Candidates will also be required to record their biometric details at the helpline centres this year. 
TS-EDCET 2017 Counselling Scheduled Released

The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced the web counselling and certificate verification dates for TS-EDCET 2017. According to the official schedule of TS-EDCET 2017, the counselling process will begin from September 9, 2017, and will continue until September 15, 2017. The entire counselling process will be conducted online for the following five subjects:-

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Physical Science
  • Biological Science
  • Social Studies

The candidates who qualified in the TS-EDCET 2017 for the admission to B.Ed course must choose the methodology as per their UG qualification. For instance, if a candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature as the main subject and Politics and History as the combination subjects, he/she can opt for either B.Ed English-Social methodology or B.Ed Social-English methodology.

Before exercising the web options, the candidates must complete the certificate verification process at the respective helpline centres. As an additional part of the counselling process this year, the biometric details of the candidates will also be recorded. The payment of counselling fee is also mandatory. The candidates belonging to General category have to pay Rs. 600 as the counselling fee while the SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 500.

  • TS-EDCET 2017 Hall Ticket
  • TS-EDCET 2017 Rank Card
  • Degree Provisional Certificate
  • Degree Marks Certificate
  • Degree Course Completion Certificate (optional)
  • Class 10 Mark Sheet
  • Intermediate Mark Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Residence Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST)
  • Income Certificate (SC/ST)
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Original and xerox copies of all the documents mentioned above

With the help of login details issued after the certificate verification, the candidates can choose the options by logging onto the official website of TSCHE. The candidates will be allowed to change the options only on September 16, 2017. The seat allotment will be done based on the options filled by the candidates.
