As per the UCEED Part A cutoff, the B.Des cutoff for the general category is 70.86. Candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying cutoff marks in the UCEED Part A exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. As per the schedule, the UCEED counselling round 1 process will begin on April 21, 2026. In 2025, the UCEED Part A cutoff for general and OBC category candidates was 74.35 and 66.92, respectively. This indicates that the UCEED Part A cutoff for this year has declined compared to the past year for all the categories.

To publish the UCEED Part A cutoff marks for the categories, the IIT Bombay has involved the Mean and standard deviation of the scores secured by all the candidates in the respective exam.
Post that, the candidates who appeared for the UCEED Part A exam can download their scorecard from the official website till March 10, 2026. All the minimum qualifying cutoff marks obtained candidates will be allotted a common merit list that is the All India Rank, which will be considered both for the seat allotment during counselling and admission process to any of the IITs.
