The management of Vaagdevi Degree College organized a mega placement drive at college premises last week. Reputed companies Sharp India and HDFC Bank were invited for the recruitment. The placement drive was open for final year B.Tech and MBA students of the college. The HR team of the company was welcomed in a grand manner by the college management and students. The placement drive was inaugurated by principal of the college Dr. BSN Reddy. The officials introduced the company and explained the process of interview.
The placement drive received a grand response as a total number of 120 students attended the interviews. Three rounds of interview were conducted which included a preliminary aptitude test, group discussion and personal. A total number of 6 students selected for Sharp India and a total number of 5 students selected for HDFC Bank. The officials congratulated the students and gave them offer letters. The students are selected at annual packages ranging from Rs. 2,40,000 to Rs. 3,00,000.
The students were congratulated the chairman of the college, rev. Fr. Gali Bali, secretary, principal, placement officer and faculty members. Students thanked the college management and faculty for their motivation and support.
