UP Board 12th Board Exam was canceled in 24 districts after the question paper was leaked just hours before the test. The exam is now scheduled to be held on April 13, 2022.
UP Board Class 12 English Paper 2022: According to a government announcement, the Uttar Pradesh secondary school board's Class 12 English exam, which was canceled on Wednesday, will now be held on April 13 from 8 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. After the question paper was leaked hours before the examination, the exam was canceled in 24 districts. The exam was scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The English exam for Class 12 was canceled in the districts of Agra, Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Bagpat, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Sitapur, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Jalaun, Chitrakoot, Ambedkarnagar, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Varanasi, Kanpur Dehat. According to PTI, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has told officials to prosecute individuals involved in the leak under the National Security Act (NSA) and has asked the Special Task Force of the Uttar Pradesh Police to investigate the case.
Following the event, the CM suspended Ballia's District Inspector of Schools (DIoS), Brajesh Mishra. According to PTI, 11 persons have been held for questioning by Ballia police. "The chief minister has directed the STF to investigate the case and he suspended DIoS of Ballia Brajesh Mishra," Additional Chief Secretary (Information) Navneet Sehgal told PTI. Before the start of the Uttar Pradesh Board exam, the government warned that if anyone was found to be involved in a question paper leak, the NSA will be used. "The English question paper for class 12 appears to have been leaked in Ballia. Paper Leak Events in the Other States
According to sources, on March 14, 2022, the Maharashtra Board Class 12 chemistry board exam was also allegedly leaked in Mumbai. Students were discovered in the exam centre with paper on their phone and arrived late at the exam centre. Vile Parle then arrested a private coaching class teacher from Mallad in connection with the matter. On February 17, 2022, the Bihar Board Class 10 maths exam was postponed after it was canceled due to a paper leak on social media platforms in Motihari.
