UPSC CSE Exam 2026 Registration Instructions: The Union Public Service Commission has started the UPSC CSE exam 2026 registration process today, February 4, 2026. To participate in the UPSC CSE 2026 registration process, the candidates should visit the official website and create an account. For creating an account, the candidates should enter a valid email ID and mobile number, where they will receive an OTP for further verification. Before creating an account, the candidates can read the instructions, and after that, tick the declaration to proceed with the further process. The last date of UPSC CSE registration is February 24, 2026 (up to 6 PM). As per the schedule, the UPSC CSE 2026 exam will be held on May 24, 2026.

UPSC CSE Exam 2026 Registration: Steps to Set Password

To set the password, the candidates can refer to the following steps:

Enter an email ID and mobile number to create an account. Note that candidates do not provide any inactive or incorrect email address and mobile number, since the authority will send the login details along with the OTP only there
Once the verification of the email ID and mobile number is done, candidates should create a password with a minimum of 8 characters; where there should be at least one upper case (that is A to Z) and one lower case (that us a to z) alphabet, one number (that is 0 to 9) and one special character (that is *, @, # etc)

Candidates are advised to enter all the details correctly, since the same will be considered as a permanent record. After filling out the UPSC CSE application form, the candidates will be able to view their application form. Before submitting the details, the candidates are advised to cross-check them, since once the form is submitted, they will not be allowed to make corrections in it.
