UPSC Exam Calendar 2023: The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC exam calendar 2023 on May 4, 2022. As per the schedule, the Civil Services Exam 2023 prelims will be held on May 28, 2023. The official notification for the same will be released on February 1, 2023. To check and download the UPSC exam calendar, the candidates should visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in. Download the annual exam calendar pdf for future reference.
UPSC 2023 Exam Calendar: Important Dates
The UPSC IES 2023 prelims exam will be commenced on February 19, 2023. Whereas the NDA exams will be conducted on April 16, 2022. Check the list of UPSC 2023 exam calendar here in the following table.

About IAS
Civil Service Examination (CSE) is conducted for recruiting aspirants for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Civil Services through the exam. The topper of IAS exam will get an opportunity of becoming Cabinet Secretary of Govt. of India.

National Defence Academy (NDA) is a national level exam, which is held for recruiting individuals for Navy, Army and Air Force Wings. The exam is conducted two times a year.
About ESE
Engineering Services Examination (ESe) or Indian Engineering Services (IES) exam is conducted for recruiting Class-1 officers. More specifically, after recruitment, the employees will be associated with Railways, Telecommunications, Power, Defence Service or Engineers, Central Water engineering, Central Engineering Service.

About CDS
The Combined Defence Service (CDS) exam is held twice a year. Through CDS, the candidates for Indian Naval Academy, Officers Training Academy (OTA), Indian Military Academy and Indian Air Force Academy, will be recruited.
