The authority has alloted the seat via the UPTAAC B.Tech round 1 counselling 2025 based on the choices filled by the candidates, candidates’ JEE rank, and on the available seats in the colleges. If the candidates get seats as per their preferences, they should accept the seat and pay the seat confirmation fees between July 30 to August 1, 2025. Once they pay the fees, the candidates should choose the freeze option to accept the allotment.
On the other hand, if the candidates do not want to accept the round 1 allotted seat and want to upgrade the allotment, then they should wait for the subsequent round. For the same, they should choose the float option. In such a case, the candidates should also pay the seat confirmation amount before the stipulated date. Unless the candidates pay the seat confirmation fees, they cannot participate in the next round of counselling.

If the candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seats, they also need to pay the seat acceptance fees. Otherwise, the allotment will be cancelled automatically and the candidates will be exit from the counselling process.
