For the UPTET 2021 Exam held on January 23, 2022, the UP Government has organized free travel for both its 13.52 lakh candidates registered for Primary Level Exam and 8.93 lakh candidates appearing for Upper-primary Level Exam. The duration of this costless transport extends from January 22, 2022, to January 24, 2022, as the exams would only be held at the District Headquarters of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
By taking aid from the Transport Department of Uttar Pradesh, the UPBEB has sent subsequent orders to the District Commissioners and the District Magistrates to arrange this transport facility on a scale this large. This free travel is available not only within the bounds of city and city buses but also extends to help the candidates travel from one district to another via buses. This proves to be a step to encourage more participation from the state’s rural areas.
How to avail Free Transport Facility on UPTET 2021-22 Exam Day?
- The candidates will have to give a self-attested copy of their admit card to the bus operator when demanded.
- The candidates are advised to keep at least 6 copies of their admit card with them.
The regional management has made arrangements for the extra buses required for this exam. Committees had to be formed in every district to make this possible which is why the release of UPTET 2021 Admit Cards got delayed.
It must be noted that candidates would be monitored using CCTV cameras, and only the examinees would be able to get this free transport benefit.
