WBJEE 2025 Application Window Reopened : The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has reopened WBJEE 2025 Application Window for updating caste, tribe, and community details. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, or OBC categories are required to enter their exact caste, tribe, or community names and upload valid certificates supporting their claim. The correction facility will remain open from August 18 to 21, 2025, until 11:59 PM . After this date, no more requests for submission or correction will be entertained by the conducting authorities.

Applicants must log in to wbjeeb.nic.in to make the necessary updates in their profile. The link to SC/ST/OBC Declaration Form (WBJEE 2025) has been made active under the ‘Candidate Activity Portal’. Candidates will be required to log in to their portal by entering their application number, date of birth, and roll number. This step is crucial, as failure to declare the correct category and submit valid documents may affect not only the candidate’s WBJEE rank but also their eligibility against the prescribed cut-offs during the counselling process. The conducting authorities will verify the details mentioned in the declaration form and the proofs submitted. Those whose categories have not been verified will be placed under the General category.

Candidates will get seats in their preferred course/college as per the vacancies in each. As per the WBJEE 2025 reservation policy, 22% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates, 6% for ST candidates, 10% for OBC-A, 7% for OBC-B, 10% for EWS, and 5% horizontal reservation is allotted to PwD. Candidates must ensure that their caste or community certificates are issued by a competent authority in West Bengal and are valid for admission. By completing this update on time, aspirants secure their rightful claim under the state’s reservation system, thereby enhancing their chances of admission into preferred institutes.
