WBJEE Chemistry 2023: Check previous year's difficulty level, topic-wise weightage

WBJEEB has released the WBJEE Chemistry 2023 syllabus at the official website. Check out the important topics of WBJEE 202 Chemistry and the previous years' paper analysis here. Read below. 
WBJEE Chemistry 2023 Important topics

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE Chemistry 2023 syllabus at the official website- wbjeeb.nic.in. The exam will be held in the offline mode (a pen and paper based exam). The candidates have to answer a total of 40 questions in the WBJEE 2023 Chemistry exam. Collectively the time duration of Physics and Chemistry exam of WBJEE 2023 is 2 hours. Type of the questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs). Medium of the WBJEE Chemistry questions will be English and Bengali. Here are the category wise questions distribution of WBJEE Chemistry 2023 here-

  • Category I- 30 questions
  • Category II- 5 questions
  • Category III- 5 questions

Marking Scheme

Category I- For every correct answer, one mark will be rewarded

Category II- Only one option is correct, which yields two marks

Category II- One or more options will be correct. Hence, the correct responses will yield two marks

Negative Marking

Category I- ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer

Category II- ½ marks will be penalized for each of the wrong answer

Category III- No negative marking is there

The Board has scheduled the WBJEE 2023 exam on April 30, 2023. Soon the board will release the official notification and the registration process.
