WBJEE Round 1 Cutoff 2024 : The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board is likely to release WBJEE Round 1 Cutoff 2024 anytime before July 31, 2024, at wbjeeb.nic.in . Once released, candidates will be able to check the opening and closing ranks for all institutions, branches, quotas, categories, and genders. WBJEE cutoff will be released shortly after the seat allotment result is declared.

For Round 1 2024 Allocations (Seat Allotted Candidates)

• A candidate with 55200 rank got BP Poddar College for Electrical Engineering branch under the Open category.
• A candidate with a 984 rank under the open category got a seat in Jadavpur University for Power engineering branch.
• A candidate with a 7214 rank has secured a seat in the Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata for the Electronics and Communication Engineering stream under the open category.
• A candidate with a 8851 rank under the open category has attained a seat in the Electronics and Communication Engineering branch for Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
• A candidate with a 16674 rank from the open category is likely to get Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (TFW) at Ramkrishna Mahato Government Engineering College, Purulia.
• A candidate with a 9015 rank got an Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri for B.Pharmacy under the SC category.
• A candidate with 85308 rank from the open category has secured a seat in the Swami Vivekanand University, Kolkata for the Electrical Engineering branch.

• A Candidate from open category with 1712 rank has secured a seat in the Computer Science & Engineering stream at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC).

For Round 2 Expected Cutoffs (Seat Not-Allotted Candidates)

• If a candidate with a 31716 rank wants CGEC, Cooch Behar for the ECE course via the OBC-NCL category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, the closing rank for CGEC was 10564 for OBC-B and 17594 for OBC-A category.
• For rank 93000 via open category to the IT branch at CIEM, admission chances are unlikely. Last year, its cutoff was 54694 (WBJEE seats) but for JEE Main rank, it was 234451. The same for STCET is also true. STCET WBJEE cutoff last year was 22615 while AI (JEE Main) cutoff was 130928.
• If a candidate with a 54000 rank wants Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC) for an IT course under the open category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, the closing rank for the JGEC IT course under the open category was 2686. Do note that the Civil Engineering course is not provided at KGEC.
• At 3381 rank, admission chances to Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning) at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata are highly likely in the further rounds via the open category. Do note that there is no EWS quota at Heritage Institute. Last year, the open category cutoff was 4517.
• For rank 3739 via open category, admission chances to Computer Science & Engineering, IT, ECE, EIE and remaining branches expect that civil and meachanical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Calcutta univeristy and JGEC are highly unlikely in futher rounds. Last year, the closing rank for JU and calcutta university was 553 and 1936 at for EIE. In the previous year, the open category cutoff was 5282 for ME at JGEC.
• If a candiadate with a rank of 40065 wishes to get Calcutta University for any courses under the open category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, its cutoff was 1218  for ECE while Jute & fiber Technolgy was 7332.
• At 4785 rank, admission chances to Computer Science & Engineering at Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC) are unlikely via open category. Do note that there is no All india quota at KGEC. Last year, the closing rank for CSE was 1361 under Home -State quota.
• For rank 8881 under the open category to the Computer Science & Engineering branch at University of Kalyani, Science Instrumentation Centre admission chances are unlikely. Last year, its cutoff was 3066.
• If a candiadate with a rank 8881 chooses Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal for the IT stream via the open category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, the closing rank for MAKAUT was 3467.
• At the rank of 3826, admission chances to Electronics & Communication Engineering for KGEC are likely less for the candiadtes who belong to the open category. Last year, its cutoff was 1361 for Home State quota.
• For rank 2682 under the open category to the Chemical Engineering branch at Jadavapur University, admission chances are unlikely. Last year, its cutoff was 1101.
• If a candiadate with a rank of 7000 wants to get Jadavapur University, for any courses under the open category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, its cutoff was1769 for Civil Engineering while Metallurgical Engineering was 1586.
• At the rank of 500, admission chances to Computer Science & Engineering for KGEC are likely less for the candiadates who belong to the SC category. Last year, its cutoff was 928 for Home State quota. Do note that there is no All India quota at JU.
• For rank 3955 belongs to the open category wishes to get any courses at the University Of Calcutta, then the admission chances are unlikely. Last year, the closing rank for ECE was 1218 while for Chemical Engineering was 2520.
• If a candiadate with a rank 27625 chooses Jadavapur University, for any courses via the OBC-NCL category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, the closing rank for IT at JU was 1068 for OBC-A and 1225 for OBC-B category.
• At 26878 rank, admission chances to Computer Science & Engineering at Aliah University, New Town are highly unlikely in the further rounds via the open category. Last year, the open category cutoff was 6280.
• For rank 102328 under the open category to any branches at Jadavapur University, admission chances are highly difficult. In the previous year, the closing rank for Electrical Engineeringat JU was 506 while for Chemical Engineering was 1101.
• If a candiadate with a rank 5678 chooses Jadavapur University, for any courses via the open category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, the cutoff for Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineeringat JU was 289 and for Metallurgical Engineering the cutoff was 1586.
• At 4036 rank, admission chances to Electronics & Communication Engineering at Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC) are highly unlikely in the further rounds via the open category. Last year, the open category cutoff was 2436.
• If a candidate with a 4036 rank wants Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC) for ECE course under the open category, then the admission chances are highly unlikely. In the previous year, the closing rank at the JGEC for ECE course under the open category was 3095 in Home -State quota. Do note that there is no All India quota at JGEC.
