Osmania University, Hyderabad has released the eligibility criteria of TS EDCET, on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test), for students willing to appear for the exam.
TS EDCET official notification has been released. The application process for TS EDCET will start on April 7, 2022, and interested candidates can apply till July 15, 2022. Osmania University, Hyderabad has released the eligibility criteria of TS EDCET, on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test), for students willing to appear for the exam. Those who are eligible to apply for TS EDCET 2022 can fill out the application form by visiting the official website- edcet.tsche.ac.in.
Who is eligible to apply for TS EDCET 2022?
Candidates will be able to appear for the exam only when they satisfy the following requirements-
Nationality
- All candidates wanting to appear for the exam should be of Indian Nationality.
- All candidates must satisfy Local/ Non-local status requirements as stated in the Telangana Educational Institution (Regulation of Admission) order 1974.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in B.A, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, BBA, BMA, etc. or Master's degree in M.A, M.Com, MCA, MBA, etc. with a minimum of 50% in aggregate are eligible to apply.
- However, candidates from the reserved category must score a minimum of 40% in their qualifying exam.
- Candidates having a Bachelors in Engineering or Technology degree should also score 50% in total.
- Those who have cleared B.harm/ MBBS/ BVSC and such other degree courses are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be at least 19 years old as of July 1st of the year in which the notification of TS EDCET is released.
- There's no upper age limit required for candidates willing to apply for TS EDCET.
Who's not eligible to apply for TS EDCET?
Contenders possessing a Master's degree without having an undergraduate degree are not eligible to apply.

TS EDCET Eligibility Criteria for Choice of Subject Under Part C
The Part C of the TS EDCET question paper consists of 5 subjects. The eligibility criteria for students answering question from this part are given below:
