AP EAMCET BiPC Counselling 2025 PostponedAP EAMCET BiPC Counselling 2025 Postponed: The Andhra Pradesh High Court, in its recent order on the writ petition number 24639 of 2025 , has directed the postponement of AP EAPCET BiPC 2025 counselling till October 1, 2025. The decision has been demanded by a group of pharmacy institutions to challenge their exclusion from the counselling schedule and join the admission process for the 2025–26 academic year.
Exact Reason for the Postponement of AP EAMCET BiPC Counselling 2025
The main reason for filing the writ petition number 24639 of 2025 was that the petitioners' pharmacy institutes were excluded in the APEAPCET-2025 Pharmacy counselling process that was supposed to begin on September 13.
The colleges claimed that the exclusion was both illegal and arbitrary. They said that in earlier cases, such as W.P. Number 18786 of 2025 and several similar writings, the High Court had already directed the officials to allow these institutions to participate in the counselling process for pharmacy courses. Nevertheless, despite those clear orders, the authorities failed to include the petitioners' institutions in the official counselling participating institutions list.
What did the High Court say in the Order?
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has ordered the postponement of the AP EAPCET 2025 counselling process till October 1, 2025. This decision was taken after considering that the previous decision had already allowed similar institutions to be included in the counselling process. In addition, an order of the Supreme Court extended the deadline of pharmacy colleges to finalise their approval process by September 30, 2025, and also, a decision by the Madras High Court clearly stated that B.Pharm counselling in self-funding colleges should start from October 1, 2025. Keeping these facts in mind, the Andhra Pradesh High Court concluded that it would be unfair to move forward with AP EAPCET admission before October 1, 2025.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has postponed the AP EAPCET 2025 counselling to ensure fairness for both students and colleges. This prevents all eligible pharmacy institutions from participating in a hasty admission process. The order provides clarity to the students and enhances justice and equal opportunity.
