Will KEA conduct another round of KCET Counselling 2023? Know the latest updates here

KCET Counselling 2023 Third Offline Round: Karnataka Examination Authority is expected to conduct another round of counselling to fill the remaining vacant seat. The counselling round will be conducted in the offline mode. To register for the counselling round all the eligible candidates who successfully qualified for the exam need to visit the KEA office to register and select the seat. Authorities have not confirmed official dates for the KCET offline counselling 2023 but candidates can expect it soon.

As per the information released by the KEA, a total of 58000 seats out of 68000 were filled by the candidates during the three rounds of counselling. The offline counselling will be totally based on the total number of seats available in high demand stream. Ramaya S the executive director of KEA said that there are still 10,000 seat vacants in different participating institutes.  If these seats are from the high-demand stream then authorities will be conducting the KCET offline counselling 2023.

KEA executive director has also stated that if the vacant seats are from less demanded branches then authorities might not conduct the counselling. The Karnataka Examination Authority filed the petition asking for an extension of the engineering admission till October 15. Candidates who have appeared for the KCET exam and still looking to get admission to the engineering colleges in Karnataka can follow the CollegeDekho WhatsApp channel. Once authorities release the official dates related to the KCET counselling 2023 the same will be conveyed in the channel.
