Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2016 Counselling Schedule

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced the schedule for AP LAWCET 2016 counselling. The examination was conducted in the first week of June for the admissions to various Law courses offered across 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Here is the detailed schedule of counselling:-

• The verification of certificates will take place from September 7 to September 10, 2016
• The candidates can choose the web options from September 8 to September 11, 2016
• The seats will be allotted on September 12, 2016
• The candidates have to report in the allotted colleges on September 17, 2016, and confirm the seat
• The classes for the first year students will commence from September 19, 2016

The candidates can attend the counselling in any of the following cities:-

• Ananthapur
• Tirupati
• Guntur and
• Visakhapatnam

There are 9,841 vacant seats in law courses out of which 5,866 seats are for three-year LLB course, and 3,020 seats are for five-year LLB course. There are 461 vacant seats fro LLM and M.L course. Around 9,000 students have qualified the LAWCET examination. There is more competition for the three year LLB course. For 5,866 seats in three-year LLB course, 7,556 students have qualified the examination.
