BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Team to Participate in Global University Competition
- RBPC is offering a cash prize worth $ 1.5 million and around 42 universities are participating in the competition.
- The competition will be held in Houston, Texas.
The Indus Entrepreneurs -TiEdeclared that the TiEGrad finalist WCB of BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Team has secured a spot to compete in Rice Business Plan Competition which will take place in the United States.
Rice Business Plan Competition-RBPCis one of the largest global university competition which will take place in Houston, Texas. 42 universities from around the world are going to take part in this global university competition. The competition is offering cash prizes worth $ 1.5 million. Last year, 10 prestigious colleges took part in theTiE Grad Competitionand the winning teams jointly shared the cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh.

Ujjawal Aggarwal, Student and Founder of WCB Robotics,BITS Pilanisaid that it is the moment of pride for them to be selected for RBPC at Rice University. He also thanked TiE for providing with such a great opportunity and a platform to showcase their model. According to him, this is one of the greatest achievement for the team.

TiE Hyderabad has also declared the launch of the second edition ofTiE Grad. The main aim of the programme is to provide assistance to management and engineering colleges to develop world-class entrepreneurship zones within the institutes. They are also planning to introduce structured programme which will guide student regarding entrepreneurship and will organize seminars and expert talks related to the same. This will provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge of entrepreneurship.
