CBSE Directs Schools to Send Experienced Teachers for Evaluation
- CBSE Board Exams for Class 10 and Class 12 will begin in March 2018 and the board has asked experienced teachers to help in error-free evaluation.
- The board has constituted two committees to resolve the problems pertaining to the evaluation process.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has directed all its affiliated schools to send experienced teachers for the evaluation of CBSE Board Exams 2018 answer sheets. CBSE is aiming to ensure error-free evaluation. An official circular was issued by CBSE to all the schools stating that the schools would lose affiliation if they fail to follow the rules. The board also clarified that CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams will be conducted in March 2018.
CBSE is aiming for the efficient and smooth conduct of Board Exams 2018 and is also taking steps to declare results on time. The board requires a large number of trained and experienced teachers to complete the evaluation of answer sheets on time without any errors.
In a circular issued to schools, the board pointed that it had consistently relied on schools to send experienced teachers. However, many schools did not cooperate with the board by sending regular or experienced teachers for the evaluation process. As a result, many errors in the evaluation process were reported in CBSE Board Exams 2017.

CBSE further instructed the schools to register the names of all teachers from Class 9 to Class 12 on the examination portal. Schools must relieve the teachers for the evaluation process without any hesitation, directed by CBSE.
Adding further, CBSE directed the schools not to allocate any additional teaching work to the teachers during the evaluation with an objective to ensure the quality of evaluation.
