CBSE Launches Podcast 'Shiksha Vani'
Central Board of Secondary Education launched its own podcast for latest news and events. The podcast is known as Shiksha Vani which will keep students, parents and teachers informed about the several initiatives of the CBSE.
In one of the latest moves of the CBSE, the board has decided to start its own podcast for all the latest news and events. The podcast is known as Shiksha Vani which will keep students, parents and teachers informed about the several initiatives and learning processes of CBSE. Shiksha Vani app is available for download on Google Play Store.
The podcast will also promote transparency in the system and will increase efficiency. It will help to spread the crucial news related to the board in a faster and transparent manner. Students and parents can also check the latest updates on CBSE Class 10, 12 evaluation process on the Shiksha Vani app.
The CBSE podcast will help spread uniform directions to all its affiliated schools. The podcast will also help in spreading uniform information during important events such as exam answer sheet evaluation, declaration of result etc. According to the reports, the podcast will promote zero-error policy for evaluation and will help in disseminating standard directions regarding the evaluation.

K Srinivasan, Regional Officer CBSE informed that the podcast is fully functional. However, during the launch, many CBSE school Principals registered and listened to the first podcast. The first podcast of CBSE explained the evaluation process of board answer scripts.

Many academicians and educationists are of the view that the podcast will help the affiliated schools to keep up with the initiatives introduced by the board. Also, the board officials are of the view that podcasts are highly engaging as compared to written information. It is also a time-consuming process. Therefore, it is expected that all CBSE affiliated schools will make use of the podcast.
