Following the intervention of Delhi High Court on the issue regarding re-evaluation of Class 12 answer books, the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has decided to allow the scrutiny of Class 10 & Class 12 answer books. However, the norm is applicable only for those students who have applied for photocopies of evaluated answer scripts. The decision of CBSE is a major sigh of relief to students who have various concerns regarding the totalling of marks and evaluation process. Last week, the High Court of Delhi clarified that the students who are not satisfied with the evaluation process of Class 12 answer scripts can approach the board directly. Finally, the bench disposed of the petitions after the board’s submission on the evaluation issue.
