Kurukshetra University Funds CodeQuotient, An Edtech Startup

CodeQuotient emerges as edtech startup to make software engineers job ready.

There is a huge demand for jobs in the engineering stream. According to stats, about 1.5 million students graduate from engineering colleges every year but are unable to land up with nice jobs.

Some of the reasons behind this are estimated to be lack of availability of candidates with the required skills and knowledge. Also, companies look for candidates who do not require excess training. Looking at the scenario, Arun Goyat foundCodeQuotient.CodeQuotient is a coding school with the aim toprep students to find jobs in companies as software engineers.

CodeQuotient provides students with full time training twice a year. The duration of the training is 4 months. The school focuses on teaching students belonging to tier1 and tier2 colleges.

How does it work?

The company aims at providing the students with jobs by making them job ready. Students are given opportunities to gain bothpractical and hands-on experiencein software design and development.

Also, the students do not have to pay anything in return until and unless they find a job. After a student gets a job, the company deduct a certain percentage of the student’s first year salary.

Students pursuingB.Tech, M.Tech (CSE/IT/ECE) and MCAare eligible to apply for the same. The selection criteria for the same consists of a technical test and interview.
