CSK HPK University Gets New Vice Chancellor
The new vice chancellor is Anuradha Thakur, she is also the agricultural secretary.
Today i.e. 1st August’ 16CSK HPK University short for Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalayagot a new Vice Chancellor. The new vice chancellor is Anuradha Thakur, she is also the agricultural secretary. She was appointed vice chancellor by Acharya Devvrat, which is the chancellor of CSK HPK University and Himachal Pradesh Governor. She is appointed on a temporary basis and will continue to handle her current responsibilities along with new ones till a new vice chancellor is appointed. Earlier the vice chancellor was KK Katoch, he was vice chancellor for three years.

About the University:
CSK HPK University used to be known as Himachal Pradesh Krishi University and the university was set up in the year 1978 on 1st November.
Fast forwarding, the University now has a strength of 250 scientist and teachers while the non-teaching staff is 1011. 1300 students are currently studying at the university, which is built on an area of 397 hectares. For students accommodation, 12 hostels are available.
