The Day 1 of CTET 2021 has been conducted on December 16, and the Paper 1 exam is taking place in the morning session (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM). Paper 1 of CTET 2021 consists of five sections viz., Language 1 & II, Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Each section consists of a total number of 30 questions. The exam is conducted for 150 marks (150 questions). Major Highlights of CTET 16th December 2021 Paper 1 Analysis (First Reaction)

Some of the major highlights of CTET 16th December 2021 Paper 1 analysis are as follows - 

  • As per the first feedback, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate
  • There was a question on Dienes Block, LCM-HCF, Vygotsky-ZPD, Development Stages, NCF 2005, Intelligence Test, Sloth, Shelter-Bamboo, Maps & Direction, Seeds, Union Tertiary, Figure of Speech (Smile/ Metaphor)
  • EVS pedagogy-based questions were lengthy
  • The difficulty level of Hindi was easy to moderate
  • The difficulty level of English was moderate
  • Child Development & Pedagogy section was not much difficult
  • Pedagogy questions from Mathematics were easy but a bit logical
  • The expected number of very good attempts is 135+
  • The average number of good attempts can be 100+
  • Most of the questions in Child Development & Pedagogy were application-based
  • Mathematics was not much hard
  • There were some questions from previous years' papers
  • Some students expressed that practising previous years' papers helped them a lot
