The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI),  a congress-affiliated political party of Delhi University has declared that they will protest against the implementation of the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). As per NSUI, the opinions of the students and teachers have not been taken into consideration before imposing these regulations on universities. The universities will lose their autonomy under this new system. Neeraj Kundan, who is a national president of NSUI has said that CUCET is anti-poor students as they won't be able to afford big-budget coaching classes.

The NSUI also raised their concerns related to National Education Policy (NEP 2020). They said that they will organize seminars and several other events to inform more and more students about the demerits of the National Education Policy. The decisions were taken in the official meeting organized by the office of NSUI. The organization also talked about long-pending army recruitment and Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).

Neeraj Kundan national president of NSUI said that the organisation will be launching very soon a nationwide membership drive to get associated with new students in colleges and universities and come across the young student leaders from the country.

There was an office bearers meeting in which the National Student Union of India has thought to raise different issues related to the student's community but mainly for CUCET 2022.
