GNIT student excels in "Words of Wisdom" competition

Sampurna Mitra a student of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology's has been qualified in the first position in a National Level Slogan Competition titled as 'Words of Wisdom'.

The Slogan Competition's concept was developed and organised by Tech giant WIPRO Technologies. Ms. Sampurna Mitra who is a final year student of Information Technology stream of the college took part in the competition with her magnificent flow of creativity.

After competing with some of the best talents from the best colleges and universities of India, finally she took over the crown of the competition on May 13th, 2016 by her incredible flow. The slogan that brought her the laurel was -" From household to office, we work with such ease that the criticizers cease".. The managing Director of JIS group Mr. Taranjit Singh congratulated her on her exclusive achievement in a national level competition. The Principal of the college felt proud for her success and for making the college pride in a national level challenge.

This approach equips the students in keeping pace with the dynamic evolution of science and technology both in academics and industry. The trend-setting academic endeavours of GNIT have produced some of the finest scholars and ace industry professionals amongst the upcoming alumni like her who have brought fame and laurels for both the institute and themselves.
