GSEB Gujarat 10th Blueprint 2023 for Mathematics: Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme

GSEB 10th Mathematics Blueprint 2023:When studying and preparing for any board examination, it is a must to know the examination pattern, or in other words, to know the blueprint of the question paper. It helps candidates know the type of questions that will be asked in the examination, along with their designated weightage. By following the blueprint, students can aim at planned and focused studies, by targeting certain types of questions over others to achieve and perform at their best.

Gujarat SSC Maths question paper 2023 will comprise four sections: A, B, C, and D. The paper will have a total of 54 questions divided into these sections and will be carried out for 80 marks. While there are no overall options, internal options are provided in selected questions.

GSEB 10th Mathematics Question Paper Blueprint 2023

The question paper pattern for Gujarat 10th Maths is as given below, in points as well as in the table:

• Section Awill have a total of 24 questions, each carrying 1 mark. These are Very Short Answer (VSA) types of questions. Questions such as true or false, fill in the blanks, MCQs, etc. are considered as VSA questions.
• Section Bwill have 12 questions, of which 9 are to be answered. These are Short Answer Type-I (SA-I) questions, each carrying 2 marks. Questions requiring short calculations are expected to be asked here.
• Section Cwill have 8 questions, of which 6 are to be answered. These are Short Answer Type-II (SA-II) questions, each carrying 3 marks. Questions with slightly lengthier calculations than that of SA-I will be asked here.
• Section Dwill have 8 questions, of which 5 are to be answered. These are Long Answer (LA) type questions, each carrying 4 marks. Lengthier questions will be asked here.
